Products
What chemistry do Navvion batteries use?
All Navvion products use LFP (lithium iron phosphate), chosen for cycle life and thermal safety. Our C&I and utility products are rated above 6000 cycles; even the smallest drop-in battery delivers 3000+ cycles.
What system sizes can you deliver?
From a 1.28 kWh drop-in battery to a 5 MWh utility-scale liquid-cooled container, all running on the same software stack. Between those sit wall-mounted home batteries, rack-mount systems, C&I cabinets, and containerized systems.
Do you have residential products?
Yes. Navvion Zero is our wall-mounted home battery for solar self-consumption and backup, and the APB lithium series covers rack-mount residential and light-commercial installations.
What is the difference between a C&I cabinet and a containerized system?
C&I cabinets are integrated outdoor enclosures for building-scale projects — typically hundreds of kWh. Containerized systems are 20-foot units for MW-scale projects, with liquid cooling on the largest models. Both connect to the same Navvion software.
Do you support solar + storage and off-grid operation?
Yes. Our hybrid systems coordinate PV, generator, and grid with on/off-grid switching, covering self-consumption, backup, and microgrid architectures.
Can I compare models side by side?
Yes — the product comparison page lets you view specifications for any Navvion models side by side, and every product page links its full datasheet.
How long do Navvion systems last?
Design life runs to 15 years on the C&I and APB products, backed by LFP chemistry rated above 6000 cycles — several times the life of lead-acid batteries. Real-world lifespan depends on how hard you cycle the system, and APM tracks state of health across the whole life so you always know where each asset stands.

How fast can you ship?

Do you sell direct or through partners?
Both. Customers can buy directly from Navvion, and we also deliver through our certified installer and EPC network — most C&I projects involve a certified partner for installation and commissioning.
Is financing available?

Is there a minimum order?
No. We supply everything from a single residential battery to multi-container fleets.

Financing & Incentives
What does a BESS project typically cost?
Cost scales with power (kW) and energy (kWh), the chemistry and system class, and the installation scope — civil works, interconnection, and commissioning. What incentives apply in Brazil?
Distributed generation in Brazil sits under the SCEE compensation framework established by Law 14.300 and administered through ANEEL's distributed-generation rules, which shape how stored and self-generated energy is credited. The specifics turn on your tariff class and distributor, so we assess incentives per project.
What incentives apply in the U.S.?
U.S. storage projects can tap standard federal and state incentive mechanisms for energy storage, which vary by ownership structure, project size, and jurisdiction. We flag the mechanisms likely to apply and recommend confirming eligibility with a tax or finance advisor.
How is payback calculated?
Payback combines the value streams a system captures — demand-charge savings, energy arbitrage under time-of-use tariffs, and backup or resilience value — netted against installed cost over a 15–20-year design life. Can storage pay for itself?
For demand-charge-heavy C&I sites, storage often does pay for itself, because clipping peak demand directly reduces the largest line on the bill. Installation
Do I need to use Navvion installers?
Not required, but our certified installer network ensures warranty, commissioning, and software onboarding are done cleanly. If you have your own electrical contractor, we can train and certify them.
How long does installation take?
It varies with system class: residential installations typically complete in a day; C&I cabinet projects usually span several weeks including civil works, interconnection, and commissioning. Your project plan carries confirmed dates.
What does commissioning include?
A structured protocol: mechanical and electrical inspection, protection settings, charge/discharge verification, safety-function tests, and documented evidence for the warranty file — finishing with onboarding onto the Navvion monitoring platform.
What are the site requirements?
Clearances, ventilation or thermal management, a suitable foundation for cabinet and container systems, and a grid connection point. Our system design service reviews the site before equipment is ordered.
Who handles grid connection and permits?
We coordinate interconnection per project with you and your installer. In Brazil, connection follows ANEEL rules (including REN 1.000 for distributed generation) and is coordinated with the local distributor.
Safety & Compliance
Are Navvion batteries safe?
Safety is built into the chemistry and the system. All Navvion products use LFP (lithium iron phosphate), which is thermally stable and far more tolerant of abuse than nickel-based chemistries. On top of that, the BMS enforces voltage, current, and temperature limits and disconnects the battery when they are exceeded, and enclosures are engineered for the system class and environment.
What certifications do your products hold?
Navvion products are certified for the U.S., Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and the UK. Detailed certification records for a specific product and market are available on request — reach out through the contact form and we'll share what applies to your project.
Do you meet UL 9540 / UL 9540A?
UL 9540 is the North American safety standard for complete energy storage systems, with UL 9540A covering fire-propagation testing — both are common U.S. permitting requirements. We confirm the applicable UL status for each specific product and project on request.
What about IEC 62619 and UN 38.3?
IEC 62619 (industrial cell safety) and UN 38.3 (lithium-battery transport testing) are the international standards on our certification roadmap. We confirm the current status for a specific product with your project team.
How is fire risk managed?
Layered defenses: thermal management keeps cells inside their safe operating window, gas detection and venting are specified per system class, and the BMS cuts the battery off before an abnormal condition can propagate. LFP chemistry itself is the foundation — it does not carry the thermal-runaway energy of nickel-based cells.
What INMETRO status applies in Brazil?
We maintain an INMETRO certification pathway for products entering the Brazilian market. Because status is tracked per product, confirm the current position for your specific model and project with our Brazil team.
Software
Is the monitoring platform included?
APM compatibility ships with every product. Onboarding is a service line we deliver per project, and once connected you monitor the system from the web console and mobile app.
What is Navvion APM?
Our asset performance management platform: live performance monitoring, alarms, battery health analytics, warranty data, and remote diagnostics in one console.
Can I monitor my system remotely?
Yes — cloud monitoring gives you live dashboards from any browser, and the mobile app carries status, alerts, and energy flows on your phone.
Is there software for installers?
Yes. The installer portal covers commissioning workflows, fleet views of your installed base, and diagnostic tools built for field work.
Can it manage a fleet of systems?
Yes. Fleet management aggregates every site into one view — benchmarking, alarm management, and firmware updates across the installed base.
What protocols do systems integrate over?
Deployments connect to the platform over IEC 61850, Modbus, or TCP, which also covers integration with third-party SCADA and energy management systems.
Does APM cost extra?
APM compatibility ships with every Navvion product — the hardware is built to connect. Onboarding a system onto the monitoring platform is a service line we deliver per project, and ongoing platform terms are set with your project scope rather than bolted on afterward.
Warranty
What warranty do Navvion products carry?
Warranty is per product family — up to 10 years on the APB lithium series (15-year design life, 6000+ cycles) and 3 years on drop-in batteries. The exact terms for each model are on its datasheet and warranty document.
What keeps my warranty valid?
Installation and commissioning per the manual, with the commissioning evidence documented. Certified installers capture this evidence as part of the standard handoff.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact Navvion service with the system serial number. Systems connected to our monitoring platform speed this up substantially — the operating data needed to assess a claim is already on file.
What cycle life should I expect?
LFP chemistry is rated above 6000 cycles on our C&I and APB products and 3000+ on drop-in batteries — several times the life of the lead-acid batteries they replace. Ratings per model are on the datasheet.
Does the warranty require a monitoring connection?
No, but we strongly recommend it. A connected system gives both sides the evidence to resolve claims quickly, and remote diagnostics often resolve issues without a site visit.
Brazil
Do you operate in Brazil today?
Yes — we are building the local platform now: inventory, installers, certification, and service. We can already discuss projects.
Are Navvion products INMETRO certified?
We maintain an INMETRO roadmap for products entering the Brazilian market, alongside an international certification roadmap (IEC 62619, UN 38.3 — in progress). Confirm the current status for your specific product and project with our team.
Do you keep inventory in Brazil?
Building local inventory and spare-parts stock ahead of scale is core to our Brazil strategy — lead times and service response are what make or break commercial storage projects there.
Is support available in Portuguese?
Yes. The website, product documentation, forms, and our Brazil team all work in Brazilian Portuguese.
How does grid connection work in Brazil?
Connection follows ANEEL rules — including REN 1.000 for distributed generation — and is coordinated per project with the local distributor. We handle this alongside your installer or EPC.
