Cumulative cash flow
Payback ≈ 3.8Numbers are illustrative. We model real savings against your actual tariff and load profile.
How it works
From a scenario to a payback number in three steps.
Load a preset for your use case, tune the assumptions to your site, and watch payback, savings, and 20-year return update live.
Pick a scenario — or your own numbers
Presets load typical tariff, CAPEX, and load assumptions for a use case (Demand Charge Management, Solar + Storage, Microgrid, Data Center, Utility-Scale…). Every field stays editable.
Tune the assumptions
Adjust demand charge, energy rate, battery size and power, expected peak reduction, cycles per day, arbitrage spread, and incentive. Switch USD ↔ BRL with an editable exchange rate.

Payback, annual savings, net cost, 20-year return, IRR, and a cumulative cash-flow chart update live. Email yourself the breakdown and a Navvion engineer follows up.
Annual savings
Demand-charge savings plus energy-shifting savings for one year.
Net installed cost
System CAPEX after your incentive — the money at risk on day one.
Simple payback
Net cost divided by annual savings — the years to break even.
20-year net return
Total savings over 20 years, minus the net installed cost.
Estimated IRR
A simplified annual-savings-over-net-cost indicator — directional, not a discounted-cash-flow IRR.

Assumptions
How the numbers are calculated.
Every result comes from four transparent formulas and clearly-stated defaults — so you can trust the direction and know exactly what a detailed proposal would refine.
peak reduction (kW) × demand charge (per kW-mo) × 12The core value stream — clipping your monthly billing peak.
battery size (kWh) × cycles/day × 365 × arbitrage spread (per kWh)Charging cheap, discharging expensive under time-of-use tariffs.
battery size (kWh) × installed CAPEX (per kWh)Equipment, PCS, install, and commissioning.
gross cost − (gross cost × incentive %)After any tax credit or incentive you enter.
Results are illustrative estimates, not a quote or a guarantee of savings. Navvion models real economics against your actual tariff, load profile, and site conditions.
ROI calculator questions.
How accurate is this estimate?
It's a directional model on simple assumptions. Before a purchase, a Navvion engineer runs a detailed model against your real tariff and interval load data.
Which value streams does it include?
Demand-charge reduction (peak shaving) and energy arbitrage under time-of-use tariffs. Backup value, capacity-market payments, and grid-service revenue are not monetized here.
Does it account for battery degradation and augmentation?
Not in this quick estimate. Detailed proposals model degradation, round-trip efficiency, augmentation, and O&M across the life of the system.
Can I run it for Brazil in reais?
Yes — toggle BRL and set your exchange rate; presets convert automatically. Confirm your tariff structure (horosazonal verde or azul) with your distributor for the demand and energy rates.
What CAPEX figure should I use?
Installed cost per kWh — equipment, PCS, installation, and commissioning. Our defaults are illustrative; use your own quote if you have one, or start a BESS Intake to get a real number.
Do you store what I enter?
Nothing leaves your browser until you choose to email the analysis. Then your inputs and results are sent to you and routed to a Navvion engineer for follow-up.
